Experience and Qualifications

Koosha is a finance professional with extensive experience in the insurance and financial services sectors. He serves Toremis Specialty as Finance Director. Koosha previously held a regulated role as Head of Finance at one of Europe’s fastest growing fintech startups, where he led regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and operational changes to support rapid growth. 

Koosha has also held senior roles at a reinsurance startup and an international (re)insurance legacy business, blending technical expertise with strategic leadership to drive operational efficiency and business expansion.

Koosha has a solid foundation in finance, accounting, and insurance, supported by significant experience in senior financial roles within regulated industries. He is a Chartered Accountant, having qualified at one of the Big 4 accounting firms, and has since built a diverse career in finance across the insurance industry, with a focus on regulatory compliance and financial management.
